Kate , Terry, Steve, Kathy and Debbie... I wanted to send my deepest sympathies to you and yours. Tom was a good man. I have the BEST memories of our time together. He made made laugh to the point of stomach pain, often. He was honorable and devoted and always treated me with respect. Not many men would choose to date a woman with 3 young children. He would help in the most amazing ways.... but also reminded me often that he wasn't standing in as their dad. I totally respected that about him. He would come by my house early in the morning after he got off work to say hello and would always offer to drive one or more of the kids to school. I will forever think of Tom every time I see an old Three Stooges episode. It used to annoy me when I heard Tom call out " Why You" like the Stooges did. I would love to hear that again, now that I think about it! I would sometimes leave a note for him that simply said : Y U . He got a kick out of that! Thank you for sharing Tom with me and for welcoming me into your family for that time we were together. He ADORED his nephews and nieces. He ADORED his mother.... Kate, you raised a gem of a guy. I wish you all peace in your hearts. With much love~ Wendy Phillips
