Thomas Cecil Ashlock Sr's Obituary
Thomas C. Ashlock, Sr. passed on October 29, 2024 at 9:04 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. He was born December 6, 1955, in Olympia, WA. to David D.P. Ashlock, Sr. and Betty M. (McCune) (Evans) Ashlock.
Tom worked his entire career in building construction, both residential and commercial. He loved to fish, play pool, and Hacky sack. He was a devoted father and grandfather as well as dear son and brother. Tom was also an organ donor. His corneas were donated to the Donor Society.
Tom is survived by his mother, Betty May Evans; his adult brother’s; Terrence (Terry) L. Ashlock, David (Dave) D. P. Ashlock, Jr., Charles (Chuck) W. Ashlock, Robert (Rob) J. Evans, Roger S. Ashlock, Daniel (Dan) C. Ashlock; his adult sister’s Tonya D. (Evans) Tuppa, Trina D. Stokes-Reibman, his adult children; Thomas (Tommy) C. Ashlock, Jr., Ashley A. (Ashlock) Johnsten, and his known grandchildren; Ryan Ashlock, Brooke L. Ashlock, Ryder Ashlock, Casey (Bubba) L. McCoy, Jr., and Emma L. McCoy. Tom was predeceased by his children’s mother; Carrie A. (Ashlock) Patton, his father; David D.P. Ashlock, Sr. and step-mother Dorothy Ashlock.
Tom’s ashes were inurned at the site of his mother’s burial plot which is located at Mountain View Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory (Westhaven) 4100 Steilacoom BLVD S.W., Lakewood, WA 98499. A celebration of life will be held at Rainier Manor Clubhouse at 14110 70th St E, Sumner, WA 98390 on December 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank all of the ICU medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital for caring for our beloved brother for the two months he was in their care. A special shout out to Dr. Naji, Esther, Hailey, Rachel and Cecilia. You’re all amazing at your profession.
I would also like to personally thank the law team assigned to my brother’s emergency guardianship case. Deborah, Jeffrey, and James, I greatly appreciate your help and support.
