Theresa M. Bazar's Obituary
Theresa M. Bazar, age 88 of Tacoma Washington, left us Saturday morning, September 30th, to be with her beloved husband Clarence M. Bazar, who preceded her. She left us peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family. Theresa was born in Germany in 1929, married and moved to America in 1965. Learned English from watching General Hospital Shows, became a U.S. Citizen after 40 years in America, and enjoyed life. She had a great sense of humor that would always make you laugh and brighten up your day. She would always welcome our neighborhood friends over for her famous boo-ba-lah fried chicken and German potato salad. She loved working in the garden, going to garage sales, knitting scarfs and hats for her children and grandchildren, and watching The Price is Right, Little House on the Prairie, and Big Time Wrestling with the Hulk Hogan in her spare time. She is survived by her sons, Bernd, Clarence Jr. and Rodney, and her daughters Christie and Teresa, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Noon, October 11, 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Lakewood, Washington. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Aspen Chapel at 1pm, with a reception to follow.
