Theodore (Ted) Wayne Arnold
Ted was born June 12, 1929 in Lambert, Ok. to Theodore R. & Blanche Arnold. He passed away Oct. 26, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Ted moved to the Gig Harbor area with his family as a young child,1 of 4 boys. After graduating high school he was drafted into the US Army. Ted went on to a career as a plumber/pipefitter with Local 82. He worked numerous places throughout the NW. Ted met and married his wife of 60 years, the love of his life, Lois (Franklin) Arnold on June 15, 1957. They started their family and had 2 daughters, Nancy and Susan. Ted enjoyed crabbing, fishing and hunting with his brothers and buddies. He also enjoyed gardening. Ted was quite a carpenter as he built the home they raised their family in and a cabin where the family would go most weekends.
Ted is survived by his wife Lois, daughter Nancy Dieffenbach of Puyallup, daughter Susan (Mark) Haugen of University Place, grandchildren Craig (Kaitey) Dieffenbach, Casey Dieffenbach, Zachary (Taylor) Haugen & Jason Haugen, 5 great grandchildren children, Brother James Arnold & special family friend Lanny. Papa’s zest for life and sense of humor will be missed.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:30 on Nov. 11, 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home Lakewood, WA.
