Theodore R. Hoffman's Obituary
Theodore R. Hoffman passed away September 24, 2002. He was born Dec. 5, 1923 in Norwood, Idaho to Myrl and James Howard Hoffman, both deceased. He spent most of his youth in and around Spokane, WA. Theodore entered the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1943 and graduated as a pilot May 23, 1945. He saw occupation duty in Germany and Japan. He retired from the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller in Jan. 1982. He was active in the American Legion Post 2, 40/8 V94, Tacoma Elks 174, Tacoma Eagles #3, NARFE #164, and OX5 Aviation Pioneers Washington Wing. He enjoyed Polka dancing and the companionship and love of the wonderful people of Dakota and Minnesota-Dakota Dance Clubs. Theodore married Rose Mae Brumen, in Feb 29, 1948 at McCord AFB. His wife passed away Dec. 8, 1995.He is survived by his daughter Tracy Ann Winchester, grandson Christopher, granddaughter Rebecca, 2 great granddaughters. At his request, no services will be held.
