Theodore Lundquist's Obituary
Theodore (“Ted”) Lundquist was born September 16, 1940, in Seattle, WA and passed away September 15, 2017, in Arizona. He moved to Tacoma in 1952, graduated from Stadium High School (class of 1958), and from the University of Puget Sound. Ted and Kathy (Kuper) were married in 1962 and lived in California from 1984 to 2007. After retirement they lived in Gig Harbor and Peoria AZ (Westbrook Village).
Ted was the proud father of six children: Dana Tate (John), Charles (Donna), Kenneth (Michelle), Kristyn Carey (Sean), Tandra Chester (Jack), and Erica Soto. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marcia Kuper Berg and brother-in-law Paul Berg, nieces Heidi Lundquist Boettner and Melanie Berg Upchurch, and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell, and nieces Stephanie Berg Arnold and Tracy Lundquist Adams.
Ted worked for Tacoma Savings and Loan for ten years and served on the University Place School District Board of Directors. After moving to California Ted continued his banking career, serving as President of two community banks. One of his favorite activities was getting together with friends for lunch or dinner (cheeseburger and “extra-crispy” French fries!) and watching sports events (Seahawks and Huskies!). He also enjoyed family vacations and watching his children participate in sports. An avid golf enthusiast, Ted is a past member of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club, past member of BPOE/Tacoma, current member of BPOE/Sun City and member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Choctaw Nation.

A Celebration of Life for Ted will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2017 the Celebration of Life Center, Willow Room at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
