Terrence O'Brien's Obituary
After an intense battle with lung cancer, this Fourth of July weekend, Terrence OÂ'Brien, at the age of 71 years, left this world, going out with a bang on July 3rd, 2006 at 5:20 AM. He was born Nov. 13th, 1934. He was cared for and took his last breath in the loving and devoted arms of his faithful wife, Virginia (Grandma OÂ'Brien), and his 3 cherished daughters Terreca, Marilyn and Mikee (Chicken Butt), in the comfort of his own home.Terrence is survived by his wife Virginia N. OÂ'Brien of Tacoma, his sisters: Betty Lou Weeks of Yelm and Violet Jeanne Klaus of Tacoma; his children: Timothy (Rocky) OÂ'Brien of Lakewood, Terreca A. (Turtle) Bennett of Forks, Marilyn Finley of Tacoma, and Mikee Dres of Tacoma. He also left behind Terry OÂ'Brien of Puyallup, Joan Cassaw of Tacoma, Davi Shirk of Tacoma, 4 granddaughters and 3 grandsons, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and Â-nephews, and great-great-great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents Jonathon and Harriett OÂ'Brien.Terrence OÂ'Brien was retired Navy, and served his country and his family the best he knew how. Love, trust, faith and forgiveness is how we will remember him as a husband, brother, father, grandpa and uncle. He will be missed by many.Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 PM beginning TODAY, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM from Friday to Tuesday, July 7 Â- 11, at Mountain View Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
