Pastor Tavai TuisilaÂ"May the work IÂ've done,speak for me.Â"Pastor Tavai was born on September 28, 1953, and departed December 17, 2003, to be with our Heavenly Father. Tavai has left a legacy that most of us who knew him, will never forget. He has served our country in the Army for over 22 years, retired as a MSG in Tacoma. For over 16 years, he has committed his life to serving Christ through the ministry of United Samoan Pentecostal Church. Tavai has also achieved two BachelorÂ's Degrees in Social Services from CPTC and Theological Biblical Studies of Antioch Christian University.He is survived by wife Theresa; daughters Elaine and Liz; sons Eric and Edmund; and grandkids Jahliyah and Nasaiah.Tavai, an honorable man, has lived a life of compassion for Christ, his family, his friends, and the community.A family service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, Jan. 3, 204 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1619 6th Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405. A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, Jan. 4th, 2004 at Tacoma South Side Seventh Day Adventist Church, 230 S. 94th St., Tacoma, WA 98444. A burial service will be held 9:00am Monday, Jan. 5, 2004 at Mountain View Valley Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma, WA 98499.
