Taumaoe Thelma LeleaTaumaoe Thelma Lelea, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away February 26, 2004 in Tacoma, WA. She was born on April 13, 1941 in Auto, American Samoa to Sima and Tautalafua Memea. She is survived by her husband Vaaalutasi M. Lelea, daughter Rita Lelea-Feliuae (Tautinoga Feliuae), son Vaaalutasi I. Lelea Jr. (Elsa Lelea), Willie P. Lelea (Teri Lelea), daughter Jessie Anne Tufu (Lui Tufu), 6 granddaughters Jaclyn Starr, Rachel Lynn, Jasmine, Misty, Latasha, Majanique (BooBoo) 3 grandsons Adrian, Isaiah, and Elijah. A family service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2004 from 5-8:30 PM in the Mt. View Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Allenmore Samoan Ward, LDS Church. Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the medical and nursing staff at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, especially DrÂ's Paul Schneider and John Kennedy for their dedication and compassion to our mother during her illness.
