Sylvia Thompson, born March 10, 1916 in Dodge Co, Nebraska to Carl and Grace Kern, passed away August 27, 2005 in Tacoma, Washington.Pat was a past member of the Kitsap Sweet Adelines and was a current member of University Place Presbyterian Church and was active in the Prime TimerÂ's Senior Group.She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Myron, their children Joan Swarner, Linda Edwards (Warren), 6 grandchildren Ron Swarner (Lori), Ken Swarner (Allison), Debbie White (Bill), Michael Edwards, Kristine Edwards, and Mark Edwards, and 6 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Narrows Glen/Laurel House, Tacoma GeneralÂ's Trauma Team, and Tacoma Lutheran home for all their care and support.A memorial service will be 2:00pm Friday September 23, 2005 at University Place Presbyterian Church 8101 27th St. W. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the AlzheimerÂ's Association.
