Sylvia Jane Pinks' Obituary
Sylvia Pinks, 82 a 40 plus year resident of Tacoma passed away on March 18, 2018. Sylvia was born in Greensboro, North Carolina to Joe and Nell Oliphant. She is survived by her sister, Kay Reece (Ronnie) of Wilmington, North Carolina, eight children, Kenneth Johnson Jr. (Mickie Phomma), Holly Anderson, Sherry Anderson-Pucci, Nikki Anderson-Acey, Daniel Anderson, Ginger Hawk, Pam Lines and Tim Carl. She was also an aunt, grandparent and great-grandparent.
She will forever be missed and remain an inspiration to family and friends for her courage and perseverance through her years of battle with cancer. Sylvia enjoyed shopping, cooking for family, old movies and country music, and had the opportunity to make many friends and touch many lives.
