Sylvia Kwong Lee's Obituary
Sylvia Kwong Lee, born November 15, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA, the youngest of Dr. & Mrs. King T. KwongÂ's six children, died July 17, 2005 due to complications of pneumonia. SylviaÂ's love for life, people and travel were known to all around her and apparent in her numerous accomplishments, which include being: the first teacher to teach Spanish to grammar school students in Philadelphia, Pa., the first woman inducted into the Elks Club of Washington, the President of the Tacoma Opera Guild, and a teacher of country western line dancing in Tacoma and on cruise ships.A wonderful wife, mother and friend, Sylvia is survived and remembered by her husband Roger Lee, daughter Marisa, son Ryan, three grandsons Â- Zachary, Alex and Quincy, her sister Mabel, brothers Owen and Elgin, nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbors in the community.Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm Saturday August 6th in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
