Sylvia Irene Juvik's Obituary
Sylvia Irene Friedman Juvik Born December 6, 1925 in Tacoma, Washington; died January 10, 2010. Preceded in death by her parents Harry and Dorothy Friedman, brother Philburn Friedman, sister Annette Trubowitsch and husband Odin L. Juvik. Graduate of Stadium High School, 1945; was in the Order of Rainbow Girls, Warren Assembly, Tacoma, Washington; past president of Cootiett's, Fox Island, Washington; member of Fox Island United Church of Christ. She was married to the late Odin L. Juvik, February 6, 1959; lived on Fox Island and Gig Harbor area since 1963, most recently in Tacoma. Sylvia leaves behind her loving family: Tom (Sally), Dan (Beth), Dave (Sandy); five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Sylvia also leaves many friends. At Sylvia's request there will be a private graveside service. In memory of Sylvia, send donations to Tacoma Rescue Mission or favorite charity.
