Sylvia Charlene Clouse's Obituary
Sylvia Clouse, age 87, passed away on February 22, 2026, under hospice care at Fieldstone Memory Care in Puyallup.
Sylvia Charlene Gibson was born on November 18, 1938, in Puyallup to her late mother Nella Katherine Gibson and father Sydney Charles Gibson. Sylvia was the oldest child and only daughter, and had two younger brothers, Charles Gibson of Phoenix and Tony Gregg of Tacoma.
Sylvia graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and worked for McDonald Douglas Airplane in Long Beach, CA. In Tacoma she worked at Harmon and Schoenfeld Furniture companies and retired from a long career within the Tacoma School District #10.
Sylvia is survived by her two daughters Deanna and Tammy, and son-in-law Michael. In addition, she is survived by her granddaughters and grandson along with 2 great grandchildren. Her husband Dick Clouse and her only son Steven, both preceded her in death.
