Sylvia Beavers was born January 23, 1920 in Bainville, MT to Cecil and Anna DeTienne, and passed away August 19, 2003 in Tacoma, WA.Sylvia spent her life as a homemaker and was also active with her church. She was a volunteer and babysitter extraordinaire. She is survived by her children, Cecil Beavers and Corrine Bahrke; sister, Bertha Sakshaug; brothers, Don DeTienne, Darrell DeTienne, and Craig DeTienne; sister-in-law, Doris Rummel; grandchildren, Jeremy, Steve, Naomi, Tamra, Scott, and Kim; and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Mistique, Sienna, Anita, Katy, Eva, Monet, Rani, and Rashel.Visitaion will be from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M., Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home.Graveside services will be at 9:30 A.M., Monday, August 25, 2003 at Mt. View Memorial Park. Followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Eastside Christian Church, 5816 E. McKinley Ave., Tacoma.
