Sylvester Knox, age 61, of Tacoma, WA, passed away quietly at home, on Monday, August 28, 2005. Sylvester leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 32 years, Roselyn Clarice Knox of Tacoma, WA; his son, Parissh Anthony Knox of Los Angeles, CA; his daughter, Rozmond Marie Knox of Tacoma, WA; 4 sisters and 3 brothers, all of Chicago, IL.A viewing will be held from 2:00 to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at Mountain View Funeral Home. A service to celebrate SylvesterÂ's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at By His Word Christian Center, 10110 Aqueduct Dr E, Tacoma, WA, 253-536-2233. Interment will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts designated for the purpose of Continuous Health Education may be made in honor of 1SG Sylvester Knox, USA Ret., to the Col. Patrick S. Madigan MD Foundation, PO Box 98215, Lakewood, WA 98497. All donations are tax deductible.
