Sylvester Etienne's Obituary
Sylvester John Etienne, 63, passed away September 25, 2013 at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He was born on February 15, 1950 in New Orleans, LA to George and Rose Lee (Jones) Etienne.
He married Tong Ok Sin on June 15, 1978. Sylvester served in the U.S. Army retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1989. Following retirement, he worked for Coca Cola for a time and after receiving his degree in Computer Science worked in the computer field.
Sylvester is survived by his loving wife Tong; parents; sisters Rosetta and Joyce Ann Etienne; brothers Ronald, Gerald, Isaiah Etienne. He was preceded in death by his brother Russell.
Visitation will be Monday, September 30 from 1pm to 6pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Center.
