Susie Holly Harris' Obituary
Susie H. Harris was born to Zack and Hattie (Toliver) Holly in Scooba, MS, May 10, 1914. The last of five children, she departed this life Aug. 20, 2003 in Tacoma, WA, after an extended illness. Survivors include two nieces, Annie Delores Petty and Hattie Pearl Brown, a nephew, Clinton Carr Jr. and numerous natural and adopted grand nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom were dedicated to their Â"Aunt SueÂ". She was a dedicated worker in the Allen AME Church, serving as an usher for approximately 50 years and as a long-time member of the Matron Club. She will be greatly missed. Visitation at Mountain View Funeral Home, Mon., Aug. 25, 1:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral services to be held Tues., Aug. 26, 2003, 11:00 AM, at the Allen AME Church of Tacoma, WA. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA.
