Susan was born July 5, 1921 in New York City, NY and passed away May 4, 2006 in Tacoma, WA. She was a teacher for Clover Park School District, a long time member of Little Church on the Prairie, a Navy Veteran, and was involved in many civic activities.Susan was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Walter Black, daughter Caroline Gorlick and her husband Peter, 2 grandchildren Amanda, and David, and 2 sisters Jane and Betsy, and 1 brother Peter.Memorial services will be held at 2:oo PM on Friday, May 12, 2006 at Little Church on the Prairie (6310 Motor Ave. SW, Lakewood, WA) In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Pacific/Mountain Affilliate, 1280 S Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231.
