Susan Mildred Livingston
Sue Livingston passed away peacefully in her Seattle home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 24th, 2009.
Sue was born in Sheboygan, WI on March 26th, 1932, the daughter of Hazel and Levi Martin. She met her husband Marlin -Å"George- Livingston while serving in the U.S. Air Force in 1951. They made their home in places as varied as Anchorage, AK and Bermuda, finally retiring in Lakewood, WA. In their 44 years of marriage, she was a devoted wife, homemaker, avid reader, incredible baker, impromptu seamstress, professional volunteer, charitable giver, and loving mother of four. Her greatest joy in life was being involved with her family and sharing in her children and grandchildren's lives.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George. To cherish her memories, she leaves her four children, Steve (Patricia), Kathy (Pat), Bruce (Jodi), and Lynn (Gregg); and her nine grandchildren, Ian, Neil, Kyle, Ryan, Mindy, Ruben, Nelson, Lauren, and Kate.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 2nd, 2009 at noon at the Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, in the Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98496. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, or other charity of your choice.
