Susan Kuuipo Young's Obituary
Susan Kuuipo (Sky) Young was born November 5, 1967 in Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii and returned to our Heavenly Father on April 6, 2003 in a tragic pedestrian accident while trying to save an injured dog. She is survived by her mother, Helen Young of Kauai, Hawaii; 6 brothers, John (Blossom), David (Alvina), Rodney (Doreen) of Hawaii, Melvin of Arizona, Mervin (Nancy) of Utah, Clinton (Dawn) of Georgia; 4 sisters, Lauretta Kaukani of Hawaii, Jennifer Cook (Robert) of Alabama, Marvel Kaili (Harrom) of Puyallup, WA, Patricia Young of Hawaii; and a special cousin Charlene Stevens (David) of Spanaway, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Everyone who knew her for her beautiful singing voice, her kindness, her sweet personality and her love for animals will sorely miss her.Visitation will be Thursday, April 17th from 5pm to 9pm.Services will be held 1pm, Friday April 18th in the Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma.Susan will then be flown to Kauai, Hawaii for final burial.
