Susie was a God fearing Christian woman who loved Jesus Christ. She enjoyed attending Church, weekend getaways with Bruce, and spending time with family.
She married Bruce Callison in 2018 after an exhausting search online, looking for Mr. Perfect. She had a list of requirements and refused to compromise. Bruce was a blessing to her and came into her life at the perfect time. While they only shared 6 years of marriage together, Bruce wishes he could have met her 30 years earlier.
Raised two boys whom she adored greatly. She raised them to be gentlemen to their wives and protectors of their families. They meant everything to her, and she meant everything to them. You couldn’t wish for a better mother who loved unconditionally and was present in their lives every step of the way.
Grew up with her sisters Viky & Cindy. They were inseparable and remained close their entire life.
Her third son, Snickers, was a Shih Tzu Pomeranian mix whom she cherished greatly. He lived like a King and she made sure it stayed that way up until his passing in 2023. He lived 18 years!
She loved to sing and dance. Anything Travis had queued up, she enjoyed; Listening to her boys sing out of key always brought her joy and made her laugh.
Going on afterschool adventures with Ayla meant everything to her. She enjoyed spending time with her 3 granddaughters. And they LOVED spending time with grandma.
Reminded her family that her door was always open, and the cupboards were always stocked with snacks; help yourself, no need to ask.
She loved the snow and listening to Gloria Estefan, “Christmas Through Your Eyes”
She had a beautiful and warm smile that could light up any room. She was equipped with an infectious laugh that everyone adored.
Orthodontic Assistant for almost 40 years. Built and cherished relationships with coworkers that became lifelong friendships.
Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11
