I remember baby sitting Johnny at Sue's apartment on 37th & Thompson and watching the very first "Monday Night Football"! Also, one time at Lincoln Park pool I rushed to get Johnny who had gone underwater
Sue and I were neighbors growing up and spent time together during our first pregnancies and when our boys were babies. I remember "tanning" in the back yard when we had big bellies. (I think I have a picture of that around somewhere). We'd run across each other once in awhile over the years. Always enjoyed her company. I had been thinking about her lately.
I remember when Sue & Cory had moved into their new home on 18th & Monroe, they had only been there a few years. I use to come over almost daily, and Sue & I would lay out in the sun and slather ourselves with Wesson oil!
My dear friend Sue passed to soon. So many things we talked about doing. Always waiting for a better day. But time ran out. I miss her so much, but realize she's free now. I'll always remember her beautiful smile, her laugh, generosity, all the great times we had. Till we meet again. RIP. 👼??
