In Loving Memory of Sun Shields
Sun Shields, a devoted wife, cherished mother, and extraordinary soul, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 4th, 2025. Known for her unwavering faith and radiant smile, Sun brought the love of God to everyone she met. Her compassion, kindness, and ability to love others as Christ loves will remain an enduring testament to her beautiful spirit.
Throughout her life, Sun was deeply involved in ministry, selflessly serving others and leaving a lasting impact on countless lives. She had a gift for making every person she encountered feel seen, valued, and loved. Her joy was infectious, her faith unshakable, and her love for her family and community limitless.
Sun’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her and be touched by her kindness and faith. Though her absence leaves a void, we find comfort in knowing this is not goodbye but “see you soon.” She is now at peace in the presence of her Savior, where she is surely rejoicing.
Sun is survived by her husband Jack, son Eric, daughter-in-law Sandy, granddaughter Grace, sister OK, brother-in-law Ed, niece Christine and her children, as well as a multitude of friends and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.
Sun Shields will always be remembered, and her love will continue to inspire those of us still here until we meet again.
