Dad, you are so missed. I’m sorry if I never told you how grateful I am to have spent my childhood traveling the world with you, running races together and killing time in various shopping environments while we waited for Mom. You were always so enthusiastic about everyone else’s accomplishments and so humble of your own. But I was always proud of you, like when you retired from the ARMY and worked multiple jobs and simultaneously got a college degree and were still present in my high school life, teaching me to drive and doing homework together. We had many many many good times. I miss you. I hope you’re with Kuma and the gang and that you have plenty of sunshine and lots of good books.
