Gene Anderson
Betsy and David,
Your family is in my prayers as you heal from God calling Stu beside Him in heaven and prepare for his memorial and days after. During this time of grief may God bring His strength and all needed in the days to come.
We have so many lessons and good memories over the years with you and Stu and I pray they bring us comfort and strength in the days ahead.
May God fill you with His healing peace and memories of treasured times with Stu. Know many loved him and you both and we will be close in prayer in times ahead. Lord be all needed and provide as only He can.
The greatest gift a loved one can give is knowing you are deeply loved by them and their future in eternity is secure in receiving Christ and they are in His loving arms awaiting your arrival in His perfect time.
Stu and I both have prayed many times for each other and our families. I will miss his conversations and encouragement. So much of what I have been able to do at Boys and Girls Club, the marina, and Rescue Mission involved Stu and your family. I will miss this.
Although I never had a meal at Top of the Ocean I can remember Stu telling us about Kiwanis meeting in a dark galley, a cold sandwich by a cold server. Over the years we had many lunches together and I can still remember the humble way Stu and John Rorem split a lunch, but always generous when caring for and helping others. I am a better man because of Stu’s encouragement and examples of caring for others. I will miss him deeply.
Lord bless and keep you. May his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May he turn his face toward you and give you his peace.
