Steven Harold Wisher's Obituary
Steve Wisher passed away at the age of 54 surrounded by loving family and friends.
Born at Tacoma General Hospital on 10-28-59 to Harold and Elizabeth Wisher, he lived in Lakewood, WA, graduating from Clover Park High School in 1978. He went on to graduate from Bates Technical College and become a radio DJ known as Crazy Steve on station KLAY. He then attended CWU to study Admin. Management, Beer, and Computer Science.
Steve met the love of his life, Hope,on 10-31-87. They were married on 10-22-88. In 1992 they welcomed their first child, Caitlyn, into the world, followed by two sons, Derek in 1995 and Jacob in 1996.
He enjoyed a wide variety of activities such as role playing games, cooking, fishing, hunting, camping, theatre and music. He had a love of animals, especially his dogs Herbie and Maggie, and cat, Midnight. Steve loved nothing more than making the ones he loved laugh and smile.
He fell ill in 2000 and battled bravely until he departed 12-7-13. Steve is survived by his wife, 3 loving children, his mother Elizabeth, Trish and Doug Holmes, Mark Hadland and a plethora of extended family. He will be remembered for his smile and boisterous laughter.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00am at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
