Steven Nuon, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 22nd, 2023, at the young age of 33. Born on June 9,1990 in Tacoma, Washington, Steven's life was filled with laughs, adventure, and love for family.
Known for his infectious smile, Steven’s sense of humor could brighten even the darkest of days. He cherished spending time outdoors and with loved ones, from crabbing in the Pacific Northwest to hiking scenic trails and enjoying seafood grill sessions. He also enjoyed camping trips and snowboarding adventures with family, creating treasured memories and a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable times.
Family was at the heart of Steven's life. As the youngest brother among six siblings, he shared a special and close bond with his mother, Heang, who held a significant place in his heart. He cherished every moment spent with his family including his nieces, nephews, and large extended network of cousins.
Beyond his love for the outdoors and family, Steven's warm personality and genuine kindness touched the lives of many. His caring and empathetic nature made him a true friend to those fortunate enough to know him.
Steven's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate Steven's life and the impact he made on those around him will be held on August 19, 2023, at Wat Samakki Ramtanaram, with monk chanting at 12:00 pm. The procession will then commence at 12:45 pm from Wat Samakki Ramtanaram to Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery.
