What Can I say but I am so sorry, however I know God has his hand and his timing in everything that happens to us, the good and the not so good. The Bible tells us if we lean not unto our own understanding and acknowledge him all we do, he will direct our path. Thank God for his mercy. his grace and his comfort. Steve will be missed by many but not nearly as much as by Pam. God keep you strong Pam and try not to worry about your tomorrows. Hi my name is Rebecca, I know you dont know me but I saw that you lost a loved one and I wanted to offer my sincere condolences. It's never easy losing those we love, I know that personally. What has helped me to deal with such a difficult time like this is finding comforting scriptures in the bible. I wanted to share them with you today.
The first one is found at John 5:28 and the first part of verse 29. It states,"Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come on out." Isn't that encouraging? There will be a time that we will be reunited with our loved ones.
The second scripture I want to share with you is at Revelation 21:4 and it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away."
Can you imagine a time when we wont have to worry about dying or losing those we love to death? Well that is a promise from our creator and this is soon to take place.
Isn't that an encouraging scripture? I have read it more times than I can count. I hope you are surrounded by friends and family during this most difficult time. You need all the support you can get right now. I have found only time can help ease some of the pain. I truly hope that is the case with you. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.
