Steven Tumua Foafoa's Obituary
Steven Tumua Foafoa of Tacoma WA passed away june 19, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family after years of battling cancer. Steven was born on February 26, 1986 in Torrence CA to his caring parents Iakuina Loimata Foafoa and Michael Sailinu'u Foafoa and spent his younger years in Tacoma WA.
Steven was well known for his highly prestigious football career at Lincoln High School. For Lincoln, he shattered records as a TE/DE that helped pave the way for Lincoln High Abes entry into the WA State Championship Game. Following high school, Steven signed with Central Washington University. Steven was family oriented and devoted all of his time to his parents and family.
Steven is survived by his devoted parents Iakuina Loimata Foafoa and Michael Sailinu'u Foafoa, by his loving siblings Jeanette Maria Foafoa - Coates (Joshua), Christopher George Foafoa, Jason Jackson Foafoa, Kaisarina Akuina Foafoa, Danny James Foafoa, Maria Tracy Foafoa, Michael Dolbec Foafoa, and Kimberly Dolbec Foafoa. Steven is also survived by his caring nieces and nephews Michaela Maria Coates, Jazmenn Jonaeya Coates, Rachael Filiarosa Foafoa, Jenesis Tau Foafoa, Matoa Inocentes Foafoa, Raquel Inocentes Foafoa, Felicia Dolbec, Keven Logan, Kenneth Logan, Mika Foafoa and great nephew Jaxon Jay Puluti.
Visitation for Steven will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 from 12:00/PM (noon) to 5:00/PM at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood WA 98499. A memorial prayer service will follow at Mountain View Garden Chapel at 6:00/PM.
Funeral Mass Celebration for Steven will be held on Saturday July 1, 2017 at 1:00/PM at Holy Rosary Church, 424 South 30th St. Tacoma WA 98402. Interment to follow at 3:30/PM Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood WA 98499. Family and friends are kindly invited.
