Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
Stephon Kary Rivers, of Federal Way, WA was born on September 15, 1992 in Seattle, Washington to Judith Wong and Homer Rivers. Stephon walked into the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the age of 24.
Stephon was preceded in death by his brother, Andrae Medina Wong.
Stephon is survived by his brother Darren Wong, parents, Judith Wong and Homer Rivers, his grandmother and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Stephon attended Lakes High School and Federal Way High School. He was a former sales associate at Fred Meyer and he also worked for ASIG Careers. He aspired to become a producer. Stephon was a lover of sports and was an avid Seahawks fan. He loved junk food and enjoyed hanging out with friends - he always had a joke or a funny story to tell. Friends could count on Stephon to bring a smile to their face or to make them laugh so hard that they cried.
He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, family and friend. Stephon will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
