Steve was born in Badger, Newfoundland. After battling with cancer, he passed away in his home of Lakewood, Wa at the age of 58. Steve was an active member in the Lakewood First lions Club for many years, as well as a member of Y Read Obituary

I have known Steve for many years through the medical profession. He was kind, considerate, professional and an expert in his field. He also had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

I have known Steve for over 30 years, my husband had the opportunity to know him through classic car shows. Our hearts and prayers are with Sue, she often kept us updated on Steve's progress on our weekly visits to Fred Meyer. Steve was one of those very special people I'm so glad to have known for many years. He was a great Lion joined in 1983 and worked on many projects from paper and phone book recycle to road side clean up. Steve was a great golf partner for John beat him every time, but they had a fun time. We will miss him and his Sunday morning phone call "can John come out and play?"
