Stephen Allen Kuntz Sr. was born 11/15/48 to Parents John and Doris Kuntz in Tacoma, Washington. He was 1st of six children and graduated Puyallup High School in 1968. After school he began a career as a Sand Blaster at Lockheed Martin, Todd’s Shipyard, and the Naval Ship Yard in Bremerton.
He retired in 2006 after 30 years of civil service. He was married to Maria Kuntz on March 4, 1972 and lived in Seattle and Port Orchard. Stephen belonged to the Kitsap Bow Hunters and served as Range Vice President
His life was committed to his family and they would describe him as strong, loyal, and dependable and a hard worker. His hobbies included hunting, live music and playing the slide guitar. He loved the blues.
His loving wife Maria Kuntz, sons Stephen Kuntz Jr., James Kuntz, Scott Kuntz, Joseph Kuntz, daughter Jennifer Gallant, daughter-in-law Holly Kuntz, grandchildren Garner Gallant, Garrett Gallant, Garran Gallant, Isaac Hopkins Kuntz, sisters Cheri Brittain and Debbie Snider and brother Michael Kuntz, survives him. His long time friends include Skip Hawk and Rick Pelkey.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
