Stephen D. Killian's Obituary
Our family lost a loving husband, father and “Papa” when Steve passed into heaven after a long battle with cancer. Steve was a true family man, marrying Cheryl 29 years ago and taking on helping to raise her three children Rhonda, Kevin and Cassie. They called him “dad”. He was dedicated to his kids! When grandchildren arrived, Steve was anxious to be important in their lives too and spent hours caring for Stephen (his namesake and birthday buddy), Autumn and Micah, as proud “Papa”. Steve was extremely patriotic and was proud of his 20 years of service in the US Army. His brave service in Vietnam resulted in being awarded the Purple Heart for “wounds received in action” among many other commendations.
Steve treasured his hours at the racetrack working as pit crew for his son, Kevin and hit pit crew “son” Bobby. Steve always looked forward to the thrill of being at the racetrack. Cassie, also, had a very special place in Steve’s heart and they spent countless hours together, along with her “little man” Micah.
You will be forever in our hearts! We love you!
Cheryl, Ronda, Cassie, Kevin and his wife, Andrea, Stephen, Autumn, Micah and Stephen’s daughters from a previous marriage, Nicole and Sandy
