Stephanie Lynn Bonham's Obituary
Stephanie Lynn Bonham was born in Tacoma, Washington, at Madigan Army Hospital, on February 27, 1961. She is the older of two children born to Leroy and Sharlene Bonham.
She attended school at Woodrow Wilson High School in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating, she began a career as a Unit Supply Specialist in the United States Army, honorably serving her country from September 4, 1979 until February 1, 1985. While serving in the Army, she earned the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal (2) and Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge-Rifle (Expert), along with numerous letters of commendation and Certificates of Achievement.
After her military service Stephanie began a career as a Deli Manager for Fred Meyers, where she worked for almost 25 years.
She can be best described as kind, loving, caring, generous, devoted, and charismatic. Her favorite past times were playing Bunco, reading, knitting, beading and spoiling her grandchildren. She also really loved spending time with her children, which included playing Bunco with LaToya and watching Jeremy race his motorcycle.
Left to cherish her memories are her two children, LaToya Gregory (Sh’Voda) and Jeremy Goddard (Natasha); her three grandchildren Sh’Voda Jr., Deontaye and Octavius; her mother, Sharlene Bonham; her stepfather, Don Garrett and her brother Steve Bonham (Liz). Stephanie also leaves, as well, two nieces (Bailey and Riley Bonham), aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and beloved co-workers. She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Bonham.
