Stanley Peterson's Obituary
Stanley & Elizabeth Peterson
Elizabeth E. Peterson and Stanley W. Peterson went to their rest with their family at their side. They passed on June 30, 2012 and July 2, 2012, respectively, after 69 loving years of marriage.
Survived by daughters Patricia Huber, Phyllis Mayer, and Peggy Peterson, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and brother William Upham.
They originally lived in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Tacoma, Washington 54 years ago, where they both served their community. Stanley was a 50+ member of the Scottish Rite, Shriner, Rotary Club and Elks club, and Elizabeth did community volunteering, Garden Club, Lady Rotary, and Elks Club among others.
They enriched our lives as they lived, and we will continue to reflect on the many joys they brought us. We loved them and will miss them.
Mountain View Funeral Home is handling the arrangements with a private family service. Memorials may be sent to Mutlicare Hospice, Tacoma.
