Stanley A. Hansen's Obituary
Stan was born to Herman Sevre Hansen and Edna Arnold Hansen on May 24, 1919
in Tacoma Washington. He lived there during his childhood and early adult years.
He married Dorothy Makin From Tacoma in 1936, and had one child, Donald T Hansen.
He joined the Navy in 1941 and was honorably discharged in 1945. He went on to serve as an MSTS during the Korean Conflict and Viet Nam before opening his first business in Seattle, later moving to a new ownership and business in Tacoma Washington.
He moved to the Bay area of California, living there a short time before moving to Tucson Arizona, where he lived many years.
He returned to Tenino Washington where he resided for over twenty years before moving to his final residence of the Retsil VA Home in Port Orchard Washington. He passed away peacefully at the age of 104 on July 23, 2023.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his son Donald T. Hansen and family of Tenino Washington, and his niece Georgina Greaves of Puyallup Washington, and several out of state relatives.
During his 104 years of life Stan traveled most of the world and saw first hand many amazing innovations created that we now take for granted, He had a good life, and will be missed by his family.
