I met Sothida through our work with Head Start. I got to know her much better during our time together at The Evergreen State College-Tacoma Campus, where we worked on many class projects together. My deepest sympathy is with the family of a very compassionate lady...Sothida. She was a very strong spirit even to the end. I'm glad I got to know her through her son and her friend. She made the world a better place and we are all grateful.

I still can't believe that a wonderful person like Sothida is not with us anymore. She was one of the first teachers I worked with on a daily basis, and her kindness and inner warmth was never-ending.I pray for her family, and especially her husband and children,during this tragic time.I will never forget her.
