Sophia E. Jacobson
Born in Tacoma on June 25, 1939; was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 30, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Max and Esther Fick, brother Paul Fick, and sister JoAnn Jacobson. She is survived by her devoted husband Phillip, son Scott (Laurie), daughter Sue, and her special "granddog" Sadie. She also leaves behind her sisters Willa Larson and June Hultberg, and a large loving family who will miss their "Aunt Sophie." She was blessed with so many extended family and friends who she cherished dearly. Memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 6511 S. "C" St. in Tacoma on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church's Awana Program, which meant so much to her.
