Sook Ja Murray's Obituary
Sook Ja Murray was born 25 Jul 54 in Pusan, Korea. She was initially raised by her maternal grandmother until moving to Seoul where she rejoined the rest of her family. She lived in Seoul until she decided she would marry Ronald and moved to Ft Huachuca, Az in May 1979. She and Ronald were married 23 Jun 79 in Inglewood, CA.
Sook enjoyed the outdoors; she loved fishing and all types of games, both indoors and outdoors. While she was a military spouse, she organized the first Korean Wives Club at 2d Inf Div Band area of influence was a volunteer interpreter for newly married women.
In addition to being a loving and considerate grandmother, she touched the community in ways that cannot be measured on Earth. Her strong belief in God allowed her to not only fight for her own mortal survival but help other patients as well. We know she is safe in God's hands now and her presence will always be felt by those that were close to her. She is survived by her husband Ronald, children Ronald Jr. and Athena, her 2 grandchildren Joachim and Rinoa as well as her family in Korea.
