Sonnell Forks' Obituary
Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2006 in Tacoma at the age of 91. Always the pioneer in improving his life and the lives that he touched. He was a distinguished gentleman with a style that was his alone. Sonnell always had a warm smile and enjoyed laughter and encouraged others to smile. He will truly be missed by his brother Harrison Henderson, three sons and daughters Clemmie Lee, Curtis, Charles, Gennell, Alice Faye and Maudinia respectively, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by three wives Alma, Pinkie Lee and Ada, and sons Lawrence, Roy James and Sonnell Jr.Sonnell was an active and faithful member of the Church of God in Tacoma and New Hope Baptist Church in Seattle. He was employed and retired from the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1963 and The Boeing Company in 1983. He spent the remainder of his years in the loving care of his daughters and sons.A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Sheridan Street Community Church of God, 2303 S. Sheridan St., Tacoma, WA.
