Sonja Kaer's Obituary
Sonja Kaer of Tacoma passed away on July 11, 2011. She was born in Denmark on February 27, 1914. Sonja immigrated to the United States in 1952 with her husband and children. They lived first in Alaska and moved to Tacoma in 1957. She devoted her life to her family and many volunteer organizations. She is survived by son Bjarne Kaer, daughter Anne Buhler, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A reception in her honor will be held at Life Manor, 1609 South Union, on July 23 from 2:00-3:00. A brief ceremony will take place at 2:15.
