Sonia Mueller's Obituary
Sonia (Alva) Mueller, our great and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away in her sleep the morning of Friday 13, 2015, following a long illness. For those who knew her, there will be none like her.
Born in Fort Lewis, WA, August 21, 1961, as a military dependent, the youngest and the only girl of four siblings, Sonia spent her childhood traveling and living in various places with her family, between Germany and the United States.
Sonia worked for the Red Wind Casino in Yelm for many years. She was also a long-time employee of Marymount in Tacoma, both while it was under the purview of the Catholic nuns and later when it was owned by the Lemay family.
Sonia is survived by her husband, Ralph Mueller; her sons, Aaron Alva and Dominic Mueller; her daughter, Michelle Mallette; her grandchildren, Angel, Aiyana and Mareanna; her brothers, Manfred and Steve (Amy) Alva, all from the Tacoma area; and the numerous friends and coworkers she valued so highly.
Sonia was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Ursula Alva, in 1984, and her brother, Thomas Alva, in 2011.
The funeral will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10 AM in the Garden Chapel, Mountain View Cemetery, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd, Tacoma, Washington.
Until we meet again, Sonia, God go with you. We love you and we will all miss you greatly.
