Sofronio Quimosing's Obituary
Sofronio was born on December 08, 1908 in Lal-lo, Cagayan Valley, Philippines & passed away on March 14, 2005 in Tacoma, WA. He became a graduate of Civil Law from the University of Manila, Philippines in 1938 & passed the Bar in 1939. He was a Municipal Judge for 22 years in 3 different towns of Cagayan Valley (Ballesteros, Alcala & Lasam).He was promoted to Judicial Supervisor of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 1968 Â- 1972, retiring at the age of 65. He then practiced as a Defense Lawyer through 1984 and migrated to the U.S.A. in Feb. 23, 1985. Sofronio is survived by his wife Josefina, 7 children and 10 grandchildren. Public visitation will be 9:00 am Â- 9:00 pm, both Thur. & Fri., Mar. 17th & 18th at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 9:00 am, Sat. Mar. 19th at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church of Lakewood, WA.
