Sofia B. Ramirez's Obituary
Sofia Bustillo Ramirez, 71, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who went home to be with Jesus Christ on March 25, 2009. She moved from Leyte, Philippines to Tacoma, WA where she met the love of her life, her late husband, Camilo Ramirez, 44 years ago. First and foremost, she loved her family. She was an incredible cook and enjoyed cooking for everyone. Gardening, traveling, and fishing are also her favorite pastimes. She was a wonderful mother, a caring friend, and was loved by all. She was the fun grandmother who rode the fast rides at Busch Gardens Tampa just a few months back! Words cannot express how much this "little lady with a BIG smile" and a song in her heart will be missed.
We, her family: Sue, Kamilla (Steve), Dolores (Carl), Janet (Don), Angela (Patrick), Anthony (Suzanne), and Dennise (Eddie) along with her ten grandchildren and her brother and sisters are joyful that she is home with The Lord. Jesus says in John 14:2-3, "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
