Sixta Luisa Vazquez's Obituary
Sixta L. (Neida) Vazquez Beloved Mother, Abuelita, Sister, Aunt and friend, born April 6, 1931, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, went home to be with her heavenly Father and her son Alfredo Vazquez, on March 1, 2008. After defeating cancer with her courageous and positive spirit, she died unexpectedly of a heart attack at her home in Tacoma, WA. Survived by daughters Miki Wade (Byron), Norma Cronk (Ed), Winda West (Raymond), daughter-in-law Lily Vazquez-Hanson, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Her greatest loves were being with her family, cooking Puerto Rican food, dancing and listening to Latin music, but above all else was her passionate love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank Dr. Jay Klarnet and the nursing staff at Northwest Medical Specialties for her care. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday March 8, 2008, at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Church of Christ. We love you Mami!
