Today we say goodbye to Sigi a man whose heart was bigger than his fears… a man who carried laughter into every room he entered… who, no matter how heavy life became, found a way to lift others up…
He was an incredible father and husband, the glue that held his family together through every storm. His love was steady, his humor constant, and his strength quiet but unshakable. Even when life tested him, he never stopped caring for the people around him.
I’ll never forget how, in my darkest moments, when I didn’t see a way forward, he somehow made me laugh and gave me strength. He reminded me that life, even when painful, was still worth living. That kind of friendship is rare — the kind that saves you without even trying to.
In his final days, he faced what so many of us fear with grace and courage. He told me once that he was afraid of dying, but you’d never know it — because right until the end, he lived with light in his eyes and love in his heart. He said goodbye to all his friends in the same way he lived: with warmth, humor, and care.
I will miss his jokes, his kindness and his presence. But I’ll carry his laughter with me — and in that way, he’ll never truly be gone.
