We became your neighbors in 1992 and were always greeted by Sid whenever he drove down Marietta Street past our yard. Sid enjoyed seeing us walking our dog when he happened to be working in his yard. We have such fond memories of Sid as a loving and patient Sunday school teacher and later as a mentor and friend. He was a godly man who led by example. We are sorry for your loss and join you in your sorrow. Having lost my father to Alzheimer's Disease, I can sympathize with what you have gone through as a family. It is a hideous disease that robs you of your loved one long before they actually are physically taken to heaven. Luckily, Sid didn't know how bad it got. Our love and God's comfort to you all.
