Siausagi Malietufa's Obituary
Siausagi Polo Malietufa, 55, of Tacoma, died October 28, 2021. He was born May 23, 1966 to Solosolo Lagoo and Polo Malietufa in Ofu, Manua, American Samoa, the 11th of twelve children.
September 10, 1994 brought his union with Sani Alo, and together they shared one son. During his working years, Siausagi worked as an electrician in Ofu Manua, managed Armored Transport and worked with National Construction, both out of Lakewood, WA. He retired earlier this year after working 35 years, and got involved with his community and serving the Lord. He was a member of Etena Fou Church in Las Vegas, Nevada where he volunteered as treasurer and served as a deacon since 1999, as well as C.C.C.A.S. Church in Tacoma. Siausagi was warm hearted and friendly man, he never knew a stranger. He loved attending his nieces and nephews sports games where he played the role of #1 fan. He enjoyed the music of Jimmy Swaggart ,gathering with family, and working hard. He will be remembered as courageous, loving, reliable, and kind.
Siausagi is survived by his wife, Lemasania “Sani”; his son, Benjamin; four brothers, Luki of Alaska, Tauati of Seattle, Paul of Washington, and Fetu of Alaska; five sisters, Joyce of Nevada, Fuluula of Washington, Sofai and Taase of California, and Pipii of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
Family Funeral Service is being held Saturday, Dec 4, 10:30am @ The Church Hall concluding at 3:45pm. Main Funeral is set for Sunday, Dec 5, 2pm Inside the Church, concluding Monday, Dec 6 at 12 noon. There will be a guided police escort procession at 12:30 to Mountain View Memorial Park for interment at 1pm. The Church address is 3717 East Portland Ave, Tacoma.
