Shirley and I grew up together and the Saccos were friends of my family from my earliest memory... My brother and I called Carl and Lena AUNT and UNCLE. My Mother (Jean Wilcox) met my Father (Bill Shankle) through Carl and Lena. As a teenager I worked with Shirley in her Dad's Store (Carl's Fine Foods - 64th and McKinley) in Tacoma, Wa. Shirley went to Wilson High School and I attended Stadium but we had many friends in common. After leaving Tacoma and relocating in Eugene, Oregon, and working in Broadcasting and as a Clergyman for all these years, I lost track of The Saccos. ALL I knew of Shirley was she had Married a man Named Scott who worked at Globe Ticket Company in Tacoma... I've spent all these years contacting cousings (Andrew Westby) and others trying to find Shirley. I am Grieved I am late....She moved on to be with our Lord a few Days after my 69th Birthday Jan 13....My life has been what it has been largely due to the influence and impact the Sacco Family had in my life and family!
